First Impressions of Abezza Resort

As soon as I arrived at Abezza Resort, I was captivated by the vibrant greenery and an extremely warm welcome by the lovely host Melanie and her team. The warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink from the staff made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth, and I quickly settled into my spacious room.

We stayed in a spacious signature penthouse suite that had everything we could want or need. With a comfortable king-sized bed, air conditioning and a private balcony, my room was a perfect retreat.

While at the resort, I took full advantage of the amenities. The luxurious spa offered a range of treatments that rejuvenated both mind and body. The resorts has three pools to relax and unwind and I thoroughly enjoyed the solar heated mineral bath.

Gourmet Dining Experience

Dining at Abezza Resort was one of the highlight of my stay. Each meal felt special, featuring a mix of Belizean dishes and international cuisine. Breakfast typically included fresh fruits, eggs and other local dishes to choose from.

As evening approached, the resort transformed into a dazzling dining venue, with candlelit tables creating a magical atmosphere. Each 3 course dinner was a culinary adventure made to order.

Abezza Resort provided a fantastic range of activities for all interests. As a solo traveler, the variety was refreshing. We had the chance to do

• A guided cave tubing adventure

• Hike above the Mayan caves

• Tour the Altan ha mayan ruins

• Visit Lamanai mayan ruin and

• Zip line through the jungle with breathtaking views of the rainforest below.

There were other activities to choose from - ATM Cave, Snorkelling at Caye Caulker, Aerial blue hole tour, baboon sanctuary.

I treated myself to multiple massages at the resort's spa, including the famous mud massage. The professionals there tailored the treatment to my specific needs, striking the right balance between relaxation and rejuvenation.

The calming atmosphere of the spa, allowed me to escape from everyday stress. It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my stay at Abezza Resort, leaving me refreshed and ready for more adventures.

A Visit Worth Remembering

As I was celebrating a milestone birthday, Melanie and her team made sure I had an amazing stay. From upgrading my room, to baking me a cake as a surprise requested by my sister, to being thoroughly communicative, every detail contributed to a trip I will always treasure.

If you're considering an escape from the hustle bustle, I highly recommend Abezza Resort. It's perfect for both solo travellers and families. The blend of relaxation and adventure makes it a destination where everyone can find something they love. I returned home with a full heart and a rejuvenated spirit, eager to visit again someday.
