Recommended read for some practical advice on team structure and work scope of the product manager and product team.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Read below for my five takeaways from this book.

💫 Empowered people - Create an environment where people can own outcomes and not just tasks. As a manager / leader beware of your own insecurities and cultivate diverse points of view. 👑

💫 Do your homework - As a product manager learn about the product inside out, users, customers, data, industry, business, finance, sales, GTM, service, legal, risks - value, usability, feasibility, viability.📚

💫 The written narrative - Inculcate the habit of writing as it helps with critical thinking and developing problem solving skills.📝

💫 Team topology - Understand how to organize product team to optimize for empowerment, which requires balancing three goals - ownership, autonomy and alignment.👫

💫 Share insights and learnings - Empowered product teams use discovery techniques to generate insights, while meeting with customers, analyzing data, investigating new technologies, tracking industry trends, speaking with internal stakeholders across company and share insights across the business. 🔗
