Read below for my five takeaways from this book.

💫 Teams as communities - Be aware that high performance teams have smart, aggressive, ambitious, strong-willed, opinionated people who may work together, but can also be rivals competing for career advancement, positioning their divisions against each other for more resources and glory. Be vary this internal competition, intra group conflict has negative effect on team outcomes. 🔗

💫 Build an envelope of trust - Trust is perhaps the most important currency in a relationship. Its always first and foremost. Be great at establishing it and once established be great at honouring it. 🔁

💫 Team first - Work the team, then the problem. Look for members with characteristics - ability to learn fast, hard work, integrity, grit, empathy, have an impact everyday - Doers.👫

💫 Five words on the board - For the meetings, organize the talk, have five words written indicating the topics to be discussed. These words could be a person, a product, an operational issue or a meeting. 🔤

💫 Successful companies - Need to have teams that work together as communities, where individuals integrate their interests and collectively obsess with what’s good and right for the company. 🦄
